SEMI-MATTE IMG YARNS
Semi-matte yarns are produced at Barmag and Muratec branded machines with tension control system. IMG air-jets are used while producing IMG yarns.
The pressure applied on IMG air jets is related to the field of use of the yarn. IMG yarns are classified under four categories depending on their field of use. Besides, upon customer requests, these yarns are produced as Flamme Retardant (F.R.).
- Slight IMG: These are yarns produced with slight pressure. Here the aim is to keep filaments together and ensure easy running of yarns in the processes. Slight IMG yarns are mainly used at round knitting and woven wefts. However, upon customer requests, it can be seen that it is occasionally used in raschel fabric production and other fields of textile.
- Soft IMG: These yarns are exposed to more pressure compared to Slight IMG. Soft IMG yarns, like slight IMG, are mostly and much densely used in round knitting and woven wefts
- Normal IMG: While making pressure on normal IMG yarns, weaving warp tension is taken as the basis.Field of use of normal IMG yarns are weaving warps.
- Strong IMG: They are exposed to pressure more than normal IMG yarns. Field of use of strong IMG yarns are weaving warps.
